Brought my siblings to k and eat last week as a reward for my sis' academic achievements and early celebration for my brother's birthday. You bet I was impressed when my sis chose songs like I Lay My Love On You (:D) and my brother sang 你是我的唯一; for such young kids to know these songs is really quite a feat.

Well my brother can't sing as well but whatever, we had fun that day hoho. And I find it so amazing that my siblings are incredibly polite to every stranger / service staff etc. When we were having dinner, there was this auntie-server who's rather cheong hei and they still thanked her sincerely each time she repeated her advices. #proudsis #goodjobdaddymummy
So school reopened on mon. Starting to see more truth in what I study too. Freud, though they say you're not scientific but I guess you've found some truth, somehow. Since you can even train monkeys, I'm gonna use your method soon, Skinner.
Was making the same prayer I did for the first trimester before I went for lessons and wow @ God's lightning speed. My first lecturer, Mel, asked me how I cope with stress and the whole class knows that I pray to God. The second lecturer, Praveen, showed us some adverts about homosexuality and asked who disliked it; I raised my hand.
Praying that I'd not just be able to reach out to students but lecturers too! Still rmb how God made a way for me to do so with Moses and a group of us, including him, will be going for missions together end of next year! Excited much hoho.

That was a prayer of David in a time of deep distress, a time when he felt himself surrounded by enemies pressing in against him and he saw no way to keep them out. So He cried out to the Lord and said, “Lord, take Your stand against my enemies. Take up Your mighty spiritual weapons and block the way against them.”
It always blesses me to consider that the final, great conclusive answer to that prayer of David came through David’s greater son, the Lord Jesus Christ, about a thousand years later. On the cross, Jesus did just that. He blocked the way against all the enemies of our soul. He stopped the way. He put an end to Satan’s claims. He set a limit to Satan’s territory. He created a boundary that Satan cannot pass over.
Remember this: the cross is God’s great stop sign. The devil may be moving in against us at full speed, but when we put up the cross, he slams on his brakes and comes to a screeching halt because he cannot pass the cross. That’s where Jesus stopped the way against all our enemies.
