Jehovah Rapha, You are my Healer

Was down with gastric flu on Friday and it felt like my intestines 'contracted' every other minute; the pain was so crazy that I could barely sleep. Having diarrhea 5 times in a day was no joke too, gonna finish consuming my milk tea asap in future. Thank God for the speedy recovery though! Felt a lot better on Saturday afternoon with minimal 'contractions' (lol) and there was already no more pain / diarrhea yesterday.






Oh yes wanna share about one of the healings witnessed at Little India yesterday! A man came with pain all over his 12 chest backbones and he said it had been with him for 9 years. Prayed for him thrice. The first time the pain was still present, it got better the second time, and there was no more pain after the third prayer!

As I can't understand Tamil, sometimes one of the only ways to ascertain if the peeps received healing is to see their interactions with their friends. I can still remember how his wide-eyed friends laughed as they patted his shoulders and one of them immediately came forward for prayer too. Our God is not just Jehovah Rapha in the OT - He still heals today and He never fails to amaze. (My Daddy is so loving and powerful hehe.)

His Name includes His nature and character; what a wonderful God we worship!
