This is my response to a video by Pink Dot 2016. My response is primarily for the body of Christ. My purpose is to shed some light from the bible and to educate others in the body on Pink Dot and some actions that we can do to show love and concern for people who are struggling with same-sex attraction.
The video purports to show how being a pastor can come to terms with herself being a Christian pastor while at the same time continue an active lifestyle of same-sex attraction. The video also shows this particular pastor being supportive of the Pink Dot agenda to redefine sexuality by normalizing same sex marriages. In pursuit of the agenda, this particular pastor supports the removal of the law banning homosexual behavior in our country – Section 377A of the penal code.
The video is quite obviously targeted at Bible-believing Christians as it is obviously a blatant attempt at trying to persuade Christians to drop their opposition to attempts at normalizing homosexuality. If a so-called Christian pastor can “come to terms” with her lifestyle of practicing lesbianism while continuing to be a pastor, then all Christians should also “come to terms” with the Pink Dot agenda of normalizing homosexuality in our culture.
Let’s look at what God’s Word has to say about homosexuality.
The Bible makes it abundantly clear that homosexuality is a sin in the eyes of God. The definition of a sin has been the same in the bible since the beginning of time. God, whose character and nature does not change with the passage of time, has not redefined sin just for the sake of pleasing certain groups of people who wish to indulge in a particular sinful lifestyle. God has given us His set of moral law that can be found in the bible. (1 John 3:4)
There are bible verses throughout both the New and Old Testaments that consistently warn Christians to stay away from the sin of homosexuality as it is repugnant to God and, when practiced long enough without any sign of repentance on the part of the individuals concerned, will result in God righteously pouring out His judgment on those individuals.
Let’s take a look at a selection of Biblical verses that makes it clear that the Lord finds the sin of homosexuality repugnant in His sight.
Leviticus 18:22 (ESV)
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 (ESV)
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
The 2 verses above tells us in no uncertain terms that the act of homosexuality is an act of abomination to God.
Out of God’s love for people, He sent His one and only Son Jesus to die on the cross to be an atoning sacrifice for our sins and therefore nobody who has repented and who follows Him needs to be condemned anymore. (Romans 3:25, 1 John 2:2 and Romans 8:1). God’s offer of His love and salvation extends to all sinners, including homosexuals. The work at the cross by our Lord Jesus, when appropriated by the Christian, is capable of breaking the bondage of sin, leading to life transformation.
However, the Lord also demands that those who come to Him must consciously decide to want to put away their sinful lifestyle so that they can walk with Him in love and obedience.
God’s demand that Christians make conscious attempts to lives that are holy and dedicated unto Him has not changed with time. God is still calling His people to put away all lifestyles that are sinful so that they can live lives that reflect His holiness and His character.
Out of the same love that motivated God to send His Son to die on the cross, God is calling Christians to come to a deeper understanding of the consequences of living lifestyles that are inherently ungodly and unwholesome.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (ESV) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 states that at some point of our lives before we were saved by God from our sinful lifestyle, we walked in (moral) darkness and lived in sin.
1And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body[a] and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.[b] 4 But[c] God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:1-10 reinforces the message of God that we once walked in the sinful patterns of the fallen world, but God has saved us from our past ways by His grace and through our faith so as to leave our old way of life (Romans 12:2 John 8:11) and do the good works which God has prepared for us to do. This would be a contradiction to God’s salvation if He has to save His people from the bondage of homosexuality and then to accept them for previously leading a homosexual lifestyle and then empower them to come out into the open to promote the homosexual lifestyle and support the homosexual agenda. These people who claimed to have been saved by God from the very sinful lifestyle that they struggle with cannot possibly return to advocate the same lifestyle if indeed they have been saved from it.
Hebrews 6:4-6
4 For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.
The verses in Hebrews 6:4-6 warns Christians who have once:
1.) been enlightened
2.) have tasted the heavenly gift
3.) have shared in the Holy Spirit
4.) have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come
5.) yet want to continue living sinful lifestyles as if they have never really experienced God’s grace manifested in points 1 to 4 above
If God’s transforming grace is being trampled deliberately, the bible explains that Jesus’ sacrifice for sins is made void, and the outcome is dangerous.
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[e] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
This point is affirmed by the following verses in 1 Timothy 1:9-11 on the purpose of the law – not for those who are justified by God but for those who are lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinner.
1 Timothy 1:9-11
9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers,10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers,[b]liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound[c] doctrine, 11 in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
And homosexuality has been included in the category that is contrary to sound doctrine, (sound Christian doctrine) reserved for judgement under God’s law. These verses again explains that not only is homosexuality a sin practiced by lawless sinners, it cannot be built on the Christian faith as it is contrary to the Christian doctrine.
1 John 3:6-10
6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's[b] seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
Luke 6:43-45
43 “For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, 44 for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. 45 The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
A true child of God will never make it a practice of continuing to live in sin; neither will s/he speak well of the sinful lifestyle.
God knows the heart of everyone. In this context we need not look into the heart of this pastor who is actively a lesbian and an advocate because the evil person out of her evil treasure produces evil, for according to God’s word, out of the abundance of the heart her mouth speaks. And it speaks of evil as she advocates sin, for “32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”
This does not mean that all the other deeds done by Pauline such as caring for her friends and the residents in her neighbourhood is equally evil. These deeds are independent of each other. It is the particular act of advocating and promoting a sin that makes it detestable to God.
Why is it that these so-called “Christians” create a video and try to distort the truth of the Christian faith?
For their personal gain and selfish ambitions. This is a type of attack known as “The fifth column”. A fifth column is any group of people who undermine a larger group—such as a nation or a besieged city—from within, usually in favour of an enemy group or nation. The activities of a fifth column can be overt or clandestine. Forces gathered in secret can mobilize openly to assist an external attack. This term is also extended to organized actions by military personnel. One example of the fifth column at work is that of the Trojan horse that brought about the defeat of Troy.
It is mentioned in Luke 11:17.
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” - Marcus Tullius Cicero
Last year, the organisers of Pink Dot Singapore, who are working to strike down 377A and eventually legalize same sex marriage, would have noted that they met with opposition from Christians and many other members of society who believe that the family is the fundamental building block of society and that it should consist of mothers who are females and fathers who are males (grandparents are themselves parents) and their offspring. To have families where “mothers” are males and fathers are also males, or where “fathers” are females and mothers are also females would fundamentally destabilize the family structure in society, resulting in a whole host of social and psychological, not to mention spiritual problems, for children brought up in that kind of environment.
It is perhaps not surprising that this year, Pink Dot engages “Christian pastors” who are propagating the Pink Dot agenda to create division within the Christian-body in an attempt to weaken the Christian opposition and misrepresent the biblical Christian worldview. This is an attack of the Christian faith and of the Christian church. To be objective, “pastor” Pauline and Free Community Church are not followers of Christ. In actual fact, FCC is not even registered as a church in Singapore!
There are some precedents of the use of the fifth column attack against God and His church, the first one being the fallen angel Lucifer, inciting a third of the angels to rebel against God by his unrighteous trade. (Eze 28:18 Rev 12:4)
During Apostle Paul’s ministry on earth, he had also met with some false believers who had infiltrated their midst to pervert the gospel that brought freedom and salvation in an effort to enslave the believers and lead them astray.
Galatians 1:6-7
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 2:4-5
4 This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. 5 We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.
Galatians 4:17-18
17 Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them. 18 It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
Paul gave us clear instructions on how we should live our lives in the Spirit, thereby not gratifying the flesh and eagerly await the coming of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is able to transform us into His glory as we put our faith in Him. (Romans 13:14 Galatians 5:16)
Philippians 3
17 Brothers and sisters, together follow my example and observe those who live by the pattern we gave you. 18 For there are many, of whom I have often told you, and now tell you even with tears, who live as enemies of the cross of Christ [rejecting and opposing His way of salvation], 19 whose fate is destruction, whose god is their belly [their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity], and whose glory is in their shame—who focus their mind on earthly and temporal things.20 But [we are different, because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;21 who, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself, will [not only] transform [but completely refashion] our earthly bodies so that they will be like His glorious resurrected body.
Jude
3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
17 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18 They[f] said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” 19 It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.
As much as we are eager to learn about our common salvation, we need to take up the appeal of Jude to contend for the faith that was delivered to us saints. We not only need to educate our people on the truth to the matter of pink dot, we also have to proclaim the truth.
How can a Christian, knowing that all forms of sexually immoral lifestyles are detestable towards our Lord and provoking His righteous wrath be a salt and light towards those who are confused and hurting, and struggling or living in same-sex attraction? These people who are in turmoil are in a different category as those who are propagating the pink dot agenda.
Does doing nothing and allowing these people to live out their destructive lifestyles that leads to lower lifespans and increased STDs equates to showing them more love and concern? Does keeping quiet and allowing the activists of the pink dot agenda to push forth this agenda so that these lifestyles can be celebrated equates to showing those who are living in same-sex attraction love and wishing the very best for them? Can we bear to condone a lifestyle that is not only harmful to an individual but also to those around him/her?
In love, we have to objectively keep in mind that “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) Many times, God does not allow certain things to befall upon us out of His loving kindness. We could have prayed with all sincerity and convictions but if we do not pray according to His perfect will for us, God is not obligated to grant us what we desire because He is a Father who gives only good gifts.
If the definition of a loving and accepting Jesus is one who bore our sins and shame on the cross, only to accept and bless us with the licentious lifestyle, why does the consequences of these “acceptance and blessings” brought about so much pain, bondage, abuse, torment and even death? Is the outcome of this lifestyle really from the Lord?
(Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.)
The root issue of the same-sex attracted lifestyle is similar to that of a heterosexual in the sense that both have to guard their hearts against lust and sexual immorality. Undeniably, the difference lies in the fact that deception is more rampant in the same-sex attracted case where there are many who believe that they are victimised by this lifestyle because it is in them to act it out. Yet, it does not and should not redefine marriage for the sake of condoning the sin of homosexuality as this is independent of the purpose of marriage. Since the beginning of God’s creation in Genesis, marriage has always been reserved between a man and a woman for a lifetime regardless of sexual attraction. There is therefore no discrimination of sexual orientation. There are many same-sex attracted people who have overcame their struggles and then discover that God is able to heal them and open them up to marriage instated by God with the opposite gender to portray the love of Christ and the Church. Truth be told, heterosexuals also struggle to keep their marriage pure, so neither parties are better-off than the other; both have fallen short of God’s moral standards and are in need of God’s restoration. Unrepentance is when one is not willing to align his mind-set and way of life to the word of God’s.
Many of those who are struggling with same-sex attraction are still living under the impression that they are stuck in their current state and there is no chance of growing out of it and no room for restoration. Yet, the solution of forgiveness and restoration has already been offered on the cross some 2000 years ago.
Love for God and people compel a Christian to fulfill the great commission and to eagerly remember the poor and helpless. After doing some research, I compiled a list that can inform Christians on how to help those who are struggling with same-sex attraction and are trying to lead a God-pleasing life. The list is not exhaustive but they serve as general areas that Christians can work on so as to reach out to this group of under-served people. How Should My Church Respond to Pink Dot?
As this annual event grows in attendance and momentum, three Senior Pastors share how they are leading their church in responding to it. 16 May, 2016 Pink Dot was started in 2009 and has been held yearly at Hong Lim Park since. It describes itself on its website as “a non-profit movement started by a group of individuals who care deeply about the place that LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) Singaporeans call home. It is a group for everyone, straight and gay, who support the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love.” In its first year, 2,500 people were reported to have attended and this number has increased over 6 years by more than 10 times, to 28,000 people. With this growing threat to the God-designed institution of the family, how should we engage with the issue? We are very grateful to Rev George Butron (Senior Pastor, Community of Praise Baptist Church), Pastor Daniel Foo (Senior Pastor, Bethesda (Bedok-Tampines) Church), and Rev Tan Kay Kiong (Senior Pastor, Covenant Evangelical Free Church) for providing some thoughtful inputs on a challenging family issue. While the three churches are each taking a different approach to Pink Dot and Wear White this year, they share the following perspectives:
1. Educate the Church on LGBT Issues
Pastor Daniel points out that the church needs to understand the times we are living in. LGBT activism, even in Singapore, is on the rise and we need to understand that a number of its goals lead to “lawlessness.” In the same way, Pastor Kay Kiong believes there is a need to help the church to see the political agenda behind the LGBT movement, while distinguishing it clearly from the people who are struggling with sexual brokenness. On this note, Pastor George explains why his church has decided to organise I HEART Pink, which will take place a week before Pink Dot: “The perception that Christians have sometimes been homophobic and awkward with these sensitive issues led us to consider how we can equip our people to engage, love and take constructive approaches to our relationships with people who do not share our approach to sexuality.” The conference aims to “educate and equip Christians to understand the issues and to demonstrate God’s love”. The shared concern of the three Senior Pastors is underscored by Pastor George, who suggests that “believers take the time to become well informed on the issues by reading, researching and attending training events. Education seems like the best way to help believers understand and address the issues.” In fact, Pastor Daniel is proactively equipping his members to understand how God’s design for family, which matches the institution of the natural family, needs to be protected and promoted.
2. Minister to Those Struggling
Pastor George hopes that through I HEART Pink, Christians will “better understand and love people who have embraced a gay lifestyle or who may be struggling with issues of sexuality and gender identity.” Pastor Kay Kiong highlights the need to provide counselling and support groups. In Pastor Daniel’s church, there are ministries that carry out the mandate of Luke 4:18, where people who are struggling are welcomed and those who wish to seek help can find support through pastoral counselling as well as specialised healing ministries. All three Senior Pastors believe that the Church must be the place to love those who are struggling. In their respective ways, they each seek to train and equip Christians to be able to reach out and minister to the sexually broken.
3. Strengthen the Family and Marriage
Pastor Daniel stresses the concurrent need to strengthen the family by directing the hearts of people back to God’s design for marriage and family. His church makes an intentional commitment to keep defending and rebuilding the family wall by championing family in the church through:
- Building strong marriages: the church starts with premarital courses for engaged couples and continues with marriage mentoring for married couples.
- Building strong families: the church conducts parenting courses and men’s ministry to turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers. (Malachi 4:5–6).
This year, apart from participating in Wear White to symbolise purity and the return to God’s original design for marriage and family, his church will celebrate family through Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Parents’ Day. Pastor George shares that even though his church’s approach is different, their motivation “is similar to Wear White in that we affirm traditional biblical values about marriage, family and sexuality.” Pastor Kay Kiong shares the burden and passion to strengthen the family, even across different religions and races. His church is working with the wider community to start community marriage events in June.
4. Apply Biblical Teaching & Biblical Worldview Sensitively in All Matters
Although his church will not be participating in Wear White, Pastor George remarks, “I believe many Christians are looking for constructive ways to apply the teachings of Scripture to the issues of our times. Many of these issues are complex and require us to understand both what the Bible clearly teaches about sexuality, marriage and family, as well as how God wants us to respond to those who do not embrace God’s Word as their standard for living.” Pastor Kay Kiong is particularly burdened by the current challenges to the institution of family and shares that we have a responsibility to dialogue with our Members of Parliament on matters that affect not just us, but our nation. Similarly, Pastor Daniel surfaces the need for Christians to engage even on social media to protect Singapore against the onslaught of LGBT activism. What was obvious in our interview with all three Senior Pastors was that truth and love are not on different ends of the spectrum. Regardless of the approach taken by individual churches, we believe that all churches desire to respond to this complex and difficult issue with both truth and love, and in a holistic way. God has entrusted the institution of marriage and family to the Church. Let us faithfully steward this responsibility, encouraging our congregation to live it out well in their own lives and to speak appropriately into our culture to demonstrate His redemptive and life-giving way.
5. Wearing white to make a stand for the truth of the gospel
I have taken this from LoveSingapore in 2016, along with the following message:
Why Wear White? Because it is a pro-Family, pro-Government, pro-Singapore message!
1. It is a message to our Government that we fully support its pro-Family policies. We reinforce the important role of Family in nation-building. Guó Jiā. Guó means country. Jiā means family. The Family is the basic building block of society. As the Family goes, so goes society, so goes the nation. We pledge to work with our government to build a Family of Nation-Builders and a Nation of Family-Builders.
2. It is a message to the Church that we must arise and move as one on our convictions regarding personal purity and public morality, Marriage and Family. Howard Hendricks said: “A belief is something you will argue about. A conviction is something you will die for.”
3. It is a message to the Press and Society at large that the Church’s stance on heterosexual Marriage and the Natural Family is in keeping with the core value of Singapore's conservative majority. We signal to the younger generation our commitment to preserve the Pioneer Generation’s legacy of Family according to “the mainstream views and values of Singapore society, where the social norm consists of the married heterosexual family unit.”
4. It is a message to LGBT activists that there is a conservative majority in Singapore who will push back and will not allow them to promote their homosexual lifestyle and liberal ideologies that openly and outrightly contradict our laws, our government’s stated policies, our national core values, and the conservative majority’s views on public morality, Marriage and Family.
Remember, this is not a protest. This is a message. An important message representing the conservative majority of Singapore.
We welcome all Singaporeans who support pro-Natural Family values—regardless of race, language or religion.

I would also like to add that there are many ways to express our faith and while wearing white on the day of Pink Dot is not the only way that a Christian can express his faith, it is a true and legitimate way of expressing his faith. It paints a clear picture of pro-family and it enables him to be a salt and light of the nation by showing the society an alternative way to lead our lives (not just the pink way).
Choosing to do nothing when it is within our ability to do something about Pink Dot is to knowingly choose not to express the Christian faith in this area that is affecting the society. There are instances in the public where we witnessed someone in need of our help. We might be caught in the midst of our lives and it might be more convenient to continue with our pursuits. Yet we can still make the decision to help out of our love for the stranger. This applies for this case as well. In fact, the first person to do something to help is usually the most crucial one, as s/he will leave a trail for the others to help the afflicted.
James 2:18-20
18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! 20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?
Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?"

The list above is not exhaustive. And it is not meant to be a dogmatic checklist that every Christian must do. These are just ways that we can let our love be known and not remain hidden forever; going beyond good intentions. The writing of this article is also done believing that as Christians, we can do more to educate and inform others of the needs of this group of our community and how to help them to realize their true destiny with God.
This is written without condemnation to anyone who is struggling with homosexuality or to condemn Pauline; ultimately they are all still deeply loved by God and we are called to “love our neighbours as ourselves”. It is an objective attempt to understand the truth of the matter and respond biblically in love as a Christian. The Bible has clearly stated that “for all have sinned and have fallen short of the perfect standard of God”, which makes our sins no better than homosexuals, for we are all sinners. God, however, in His mercy and grace, chose to love us all the same and send His one and only Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, so that we can turn back to Him through repentance from our sinful ways of living. God longs and wants us to go back to His loving arms despite all that we have done to ourselves and to Him. He still loves all of us, who have sinned and went against Him at some point of time. The most important response that we can have is to repent of our old ways of living. If you know of anyone who are struggling with same-sex attraction, let us not condemn them, but let us pray for them and, if God is willing, let’s try our very best to gently restore them back to God’s path of life for them.
Galatians 6:1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
